Pyzzla.com (the "Service") is provided by Gr8eam AB, corporate identity number 559599-8245 ("we", "us"), which is the data controller for the processing described here.
Account data that you provide yourself when registering: name, email address, alias and password (always stored encrypted/hashed). You may also optionally provide your date of birth, gender, country, localities, language and interests.
Usage data generated when you use the Service: game history (playing time, result, time of play), IP address and session data. If you play without an account, the data is linked to an anonymous session instead of to a person.
Images that you upload yourself in accordance with the Terms of Use.
We use the data to operate the Service: login, saved results and leaderboards, language adaptation, and to display advertisements that are relevant to you (e.g. based on country, locality and interests). We also use the data to counteract misuse, for example through limits on how often a game can be played. In competitions, we use your IP address to determine which country you are connecting from (IP Geolocation by DB-IP, db-ip.com). If you win a competition, we use your name and email address so that the prize can be awarded.
The Service uses only necessary cookies: the session cookie (login and game rounds), your cookie choice and settings such as language. We do not use any third-party cookies or any tracking for marketing purposes outside the Service. Without the necessary cookies the Service does not function. You can play a game that you open via a direct link without accepting the cookies first; to keep playing, you need to accept them.
We never sell your personal data. Data is shared only with the suppliers required for the operation of the Service (for example server hosting and email delivery), when required by law, and with the creator of a competition game that you win (see below). Otherwise, advertisers only see anonymous statistics.
Winners of competition games. A competition game may be created by, for example, an advertiser or an exhibitor who provides and awards the prize themselves. If you win such a competition game, we pass your name and email address to the creator so that the prize can be awarded. This applies only to the winners, never to other participants. The disclosure is necessary to perform the competition under the Terms of Use (Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation). The creator becomes an independent controller of the data and may use it only to award the prize.
The data is kept for as long as you have an account. If you delete your account, your personal data is erased; anonymised game statistics may be retained. Anonymous session data is purged on an ongoing basis.
You have the right to know what data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data rectified, to have your data erased and to object to the processing. Contact us via the contact form (login required). You may also lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY) or with the data protection authority in the country where you live.
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be announced on the Service before they take effect.
